I love to push the limits with food.  With that, I get the opportunity to be extremely creative and channel my tastes and my passion for food into new and amazing dishes.  I also have an extreme respect for others who do the same.  Today I got sent two articles.  One was just released in the NYTimes about The Bacon Explosion.  I would link to the NY Times but I love where this article first came from.  I heard about this over month ago from BBQ Addicts.  http://www.bbqaddicts.com/blog/recipes/bacon-explosion/

I love the creativity and the desire to push the limits.  At the same time, because I am often referred to as “One of the most competitive people they have ever known” I am upset that I did not think of that first.   Either way.  BBQ Addicts is a great site and I am sure our paths will cross one day.  Maybe we can combine a preperation of the Bacon Explosion on the top of Denali or something.  Hmmm.

The second article that was sent to me was about the ultimate super bowl snack.  http://www.holytaco.com/ultimate-super-bowl-snack-stadium.  Thanks Tim for the link.  I love the idea. I am not sure about the Twinkies but then again, this is highly creative and something to be built upon.  I am going to toss this around for the next day or so and see what I can do.  As your standard “sports junkie”  I will be attending a Super Bowl party as well.  I am thinking of an Atkins version of this or maybe something slightly less greasy.  As many of my friends know, I don’t like to mix my sweets with my savories but lets see what we can do.  What do you think?
