Certified BBQ Judge
Ever wonder what it takes to win a BBQ competition? Ever have the desire to learn what makes a champion pitmaster? Well now is your chance. On Friday, July 2nd we will be offering a certified BBQ judging class in Durango, CO. By taking the class you will be a KCBS certified judge and eligible to judge any competition. The cost is $40 for KCBS members and $75 for non members. You can to feast on some good BBQ and have a great time. Email postmaster@cookmanfood.com with any questions.
To sign up go to: http://www.judgebbq.com/ and create an account. You will receive an email with your JLP code. Next log in and click “Sign Up for Events I want to Judge”. Next select “RMBBQA Cup Events” and scroll down and check the box for the Smokin 4th of July BBQcompetition in Durango, CO. Make sure you select “Sign Me Up” under the BBQ class section. Finally, go down and click Add Events and you are done. We will see you at the class and at the competition. Keep coming back to the site for more updates as we get closer to the event.

I have created my account on Judges Laison Program and signed up to take the judging class but have a couple of questions. When do I make the payment? I will be competing in the Kiwanis cookoff so am I required to be a judge for that event since the application requires me to sign up to apply for the judges class?
